Leading up to the 2023 JUNO Awards in Edmonton on March 13, Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year nominees Cancer Bats have mapped out a tour of Alberta in support of their honoured album Psychic Jailbreak.

The trek begins in Banff on March 6, after which the three-piece will head to Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Calgary and Red Deer in the ensuing days leading up to a performance in Edmonton the night before (March 12) the awards ceremony is set to take place. Trench will join the band on all dates.

Tickets for the six-date mini-trek go on sale tomorrow (February 9) at 10 a.m. MT.

"We can't wait to party at the JUNOs!!!" bandleader Liam Cormier said in a release. "It's so crazy getting nominated, we decided to rip it up for a whole week! Leading up to the awards, we will be getting wild in all our favourite Alberta towns! We're also so stoked our New Damage label mates Trench will be joining us on all these shows!!! FINGERS CROSSED WE TAKE HOME THE METALLIC GOLD!"

In addition to the newly announced tour, the Bats are due to perform alongside Billy Talent, Cypress Hill and the OBGMs in Toronto this summer.
