After serving up covers of Orville Peck and Nirvana for Bandcamp Fridays, Nashville-based Alicia Bognanno of garage rock troupe Bully has shared yet another cover — this time, a stripped-down version of Mazzy Star's classic 1993 song "Fade Into You."
This turn, Bognanno has included a video component, which sees the frontwoman inside a sparkling home setting reminiscent of Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O's recent closet-based livestream series.
Bully are set to release their third full-length album SUGAREGG later next month. Previously, the band had shared the record's lead single "Where to Start," which was inspired by Chumbawumba's 1997 hit, "Tubthumping."
That record will arrive on August 21 via Sub Pop.
