Blood and Glass

"Hop the Fence" (video)

Blood and Glass delivered their latest LP Punk Shadows earlier this year, and now the two-piece have unveiled some matching visuals for album cut "Hop the Fence."

The project brings together Little Scream player Lisa Moore and the Barr Brothers' Morgan Moore, and it hears them crafting eccentric electro-pop tunes. The dramatic, brassy "Hop the Fence" has been treated to an equally attention-grabbing black-and-white video, directed by Kaveh Nabation.

The clip features choreography by Axelle Munezero, blending the waacking dance style with more classical can-can glamour. The theatrical elements of the dance itself are mimicked by the costuming and make-up, as well as the interesting camera angles.

"We wanted to juxtapose really stereotypically attractive women doing these cliché '50s glamorous moves with something modern and creepy," Lisa Moore explained in a statement. "I love juxtapositions that offset clichés, it's very provocative."

See those ideas collide by watching the video for "Hop the Fence" down below.
