Bishop Nehru Unveils New EP

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Apr 28, 2015

On-the-rise teen rapper Bishop Nehru has revealed the details behind his first post-NehruvianDOOM project. Running with a self-referential theme, his Nehruvia: The Nehruvian EP arrives May 11 through Mass Appeal Records.

While Nehru last teamed up with the metal-faced DOOM for NehruvianDOOM, the upcoming eight-song EP has Bishop booked solo. He told Fader that the tracks are "just too raw" for his forthcoming, as-yet-undetailed debut album, which will be overseen by Nas.

Nehruvia: The Nehruvian collects semi-recent loosies "Harmony in a Glass" and "Breath (Prana/$pirit)" and pairs them with another six tracks. The EP's "Manssin" is the lone entry to features guest bars, which are served up by Que Hampton.

As previously reported, Bishop Nehru will be playing Toronto's NXNE and at Montreal's Osheaga this year. You'll find all of the show specifics beneath the new EP's tracklisting.
