Toronto-born singer-songwriter Bells Larsen is making their full-length debut with the release of their album Good Grief, and today is sharing the first single to be lifted off of the record, "Double Aquarius."

Out September 9 via Next Door Records, the coming-of-age collection was written and recorded over a five-year period at co-producer Graham Ereaux's studio in Liverpool, NS, where they were joined by multi-instrumentalist Evan Matthews.

Although about some of the darker moments in Larsen's life, the bouncy and upbeat folk-tinged anthem ponders the affinity between love and the stars.

The Jack Harrison-directed accompanying video is about blaming your blues on astrology. "When I'm feeling off, I tend to ask myself if there's something going on with me or if there's just something in the stars. This video splits the difference and shows that it can be a bit of both," Larsen said in a press release, adding that they drew inspiration for the track from the likes of Soccer Mommy, Frankie Cosmos and Courtney Barnett.
