Most of the The Audio Recording Acadmey's Secret Sessions participants have been artists whose albums have come out in the last year. But for this, the final session, Ottawa's The Balconies are offering up a sneak peak at what their debut record, out September 15, has in store.
A brother/sister/boyfriend trio, the band has won hearts and ears through their energetic live performances. And in spite of the more laid back feel of the TARA sessions, The Balconies are still able to channel enough kinetic energy into their performance to really hammer home what they're all about as a live band.
