After announcing her return from a three-year break in early 2020, Toronto's Austra — a.k.a. Katie Stelmanis — has shared another new single, titled "Mountain Baby," from her forthcoming album HiRUDiN.

"Mountain Baby," featuring Montreal's Cecile Believe and Toronto's Wilkinson Public School children's choir, arrives today, with the song finding Stelmanis tackling the end of a romantic relationship.

"'Mountain Baby' explores the different stages of a breakup," she explains of the video. "Surrounded by a feeling of unknown and grounded only by a hidden sense to move forward (the choir), we're also reminded through flashbacks of both the uncertainty and resistance we experienced in the relationship (Katie), as well as the pure, unbridled joy (Cecile)."

Her new material follows the release of album singles "Anywayz" and "Risk It."

HiRUDiN arrives on May 1 via Pink Fizz.
