Thom Yorke has always had strong political convictions, so it's only natural that the singer will be bringing his band Atoms to Peace to Jon Stewart's political comedy program The Daily Show for a live performance next Thursday (September 26).
Interestingly, this gig will be two years to the day since Yorke and his other band, Radiohead, performed on played on the The Daily Show's satirical spin-off, The Colbert Report.
Speaking of Colbert, heavy metal icons Metallica will perform on the show on Tuesday (September 24).
Atoms for Peace have a busy fall schedule that will find them playing in the U.S., Mexico and Japan. See the dates over at their website.
