Alvvays announced their much-anticipated third full-length Blue Rev — their first in five years — last month and shared the distortion-blasted new single "Pharmacist" in the process.
"Pharmacist" is Blue Rev's opening track, and today we get the full introductory one-two punch with the record's second song "Easy on Your Own?" which features the same blistering distortion as "Pharmacist" and rides an unpredictable jigsaw puzzle of a melody.
Blue Rev arrives October 7 and was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Shawn Everett. It's the band's first to feature drummer Sheridan Riley and bassist Abbey Blackwell.
