The artists behind two of 2022's best albums are hitting the road together, as Alvvays and Alex G have announced plans to tour together this summer.
The co-headlining leg will last for seven shows from the end of August to the beginning of September. This includes one Canadian stop: August 28 at Toronto's Budweiser Stage. A presale begins on Wednesday (March 1), and tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday (March 3).
These dates are in addition to lots of other shows for Alvvays, who will be touring Canada in March and playing RBC Ottawa Bluesfest. See their newly added dates with Alex G below.
In 2022, Exclaim! named Alvvays' Blue Rev the best album of the year, while Alex G's God Save the Animals track "Runner" was our top song. Alex G appeared on our year-end cover.
