Since teasing plans for a full-length album with the release of last year's "NIGHTMARES," Alice Glass has confirmed plans for her debut's arrival sometime later this year. Without offering any other details about the release, Glass has shared a new single from the effort titled "SUFFER AND SWALLOW," which is meant to explore "the dichotomy of pain and beauty."
For the accompanying music video, she has teamed up again with stop-motion animator Lucas David, and you can watch their collaboration below.
Glass is encouraging fans to buy the song instead of streaming it alone, after she previously spoke at length about issues receiving royalty payments last fall. The former Crystal Castles member has assured fans that her new solo project — the "culmination of years of literal blood, sweat, sobs, screams and tears" — is forthcoming.
The latest solo track also follows her contributions to The Turning soundtrack in 2019.
