Since reuniting last year, long-lost Cincinnati alt-rockers the Afghan Whigs have booked a few scattered dates, but they have yet to come to our country. That will soon change, as the band have expanded their live schedule and added a Toronto show.
This summer, the group will play gigs and hit up festivals in Australia and Europe before coming to our continent in the fall. In addition to a number of U.S. shows, they will play at Toronto's Phoenix Theatre on October 3.
Tickets for the Toronto show go on sale to the general public this Friday (June 22) through Ticketmaster. Go to the Afghan Whigs' website for information about a pre-sale that begins this Wednesday (June 20).
