The Trailer for 'Loki' Looks a Lot Like 'Brazil'

The show premieres on Disney+ in June

The trailer for Disney+'s next series, Loki, has arrived.

The whole thing looks a lot like Terry Gilliam's Brazil, as Loki's titular God of Mischief (Tom Hiddleston) gets caught in a fever dream of bureaucratic red tape when the TVA (Time Variance Authority) attempts to rectify the reality-warping effects of the Tesseract.

Owen Wilson offers a very Owen Wilson-y performance as a TVA bureaucrat, with supporting roles played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. The show is directed by Kate Herron, and Michael Waldron serves as head writer.

The Marvel series premieres on Disney+ on June 11. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is airing now.
