Jonah Hill has been called a "narcissistic misogynist" by his ex Sarah Brady, who has accused him of "emotional abuse" while sharing text messages allegedly sent between the pair.

Hill and Brady were in a relationship in 2021, and it's not clear exactly when they broke up. The private messages, which Brady posted on her Instagram Story, lay out what Hill referred to as "my boundaries for romantic partnership." These include forbidding Brady from "[posting] pictures of yourself in a bathing suit" and "surfing with men" — even though Brady is a professional surfer.

The texts also forbid "friendships with women who are in unstable places and from your wild recent past beyond getting a lunch or coffee or something respectful." Brady's post didn't actually identify Hill by name, but the messages appear to come from someone named "Jonah" with a profile image of Hill. Brady implied that Hill was co-opting therapy language, as she wrote, "See the misuse of the term 'boundaries'?"

In subsequent Instagram Stories, Brady called it "laughable" that Hill calls himself a feminist, and wrote, "Someone being an emotionally abusive partner doesn't mean they're a terrible person (often stems from their own trauma) and at the same time it doesn't mean it's OK."

In a post on her Instagram grid, Brady shared a photo of herself that Hill allegedly asked her to take down, captioning the shot, "reviving a pic I took down by request of a narcissistic misogynist."

Hill hasn't publicly responded to the accusations.
