As promised, HBO has made a Deadwood movie. It's no longer just a mere concept, either, as today we get an official teaser trailer and release date.
The film will feature all of the living members from the cast of the original show (save for Titus Welliver) and will take place 12 years after the original series took place.
The film's synopsis promises that "former rivalries are reignited, alliances are tested and old wounds are reopened, as all are left to navigate the inevitable changes that modernity and time have wrought."
