The gang is back for what they're calling the "sweetest" season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia yet, whatever that means. This year, Philly's finest will tackle issues including inflation, US–Russia relations, gun control and reality TV.

Speaking of TV, the trailer for the sitcom's sixteenth season has a Breaking Bad cameo of sorts, as Charlie (played by Charlie Day) drives around two unnamed characters played by Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. Watch it below.

The official synopsis for the season reads: "This year alone, Mac battles with allergies and long-distance dating, Charlie takes on his long-forgotten sisters, Dee fights for rent control and women's athletics, Frank wrestles for his gun, and Dennis struggles to improve his mental health. At the end of the day, they're navigating 2023 with 16 years of baggage as a few figures from their past rear their heads."

On top of Season 16, Always Sunny has been renewed for another two seasons, making it the longest-running live-action sitcom in TV history.

The first two episodes of Always Sunny Season 16 will premiere on FXX on June 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT before being available to stream on Disney+ the following day.
