The Gang is officially coming back for more — a lot more. Believe it or not, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has just been renewed by FX for a whopping four new seasons.

The network made the announcement today, with It's Always Sunny Rob McElhenney soon confirming the news on Twitter.

"Sunny was originally pitched as a 36 season arc. So happy to be halfway done," he tweeted.
It's Always Sunny aired its Season 14 back in 2019, and earlier this year, it was confirmed the show would be ushering out Season 15 in 2021.

As previously reported, the 15th instalment will beat out the record-holding series The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, which aired on ABC back in the '50s and '60s.

Since Season 14, McElhenney branched out with his pretty stellar Mythic Quest, which aired on Disney+.
