Following the recent continued exodus of Saturday Night Live cast members, the sketch comedy institution has announced the addition of four new players to the cast for its upcoming 48th season.

Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker are the latest to join the SNL team, according to a tweet from the show's official account.

The new signees bring the following resumés to the table: Hernandez boasts over 344,000 TikTok followers for his comedic stylings, Kearney recently appeared in the new A League of Their Own TV series, Longfellow is fresh off a performance at the Netflix Is a Joke Festival's Introducing... showcase, while Walker is a story editor on Phoebe Robinson's Everything's Trash and has also written for Big Mouth.

They have some pretty big shoes to fill: big-name stars Kate McKinnon, Pete Davidson and Aidy Bryant said goodbye on the Season 47 finale, with Melissa Villaseñor, Alex Moffat and Aristotle Athari announcing their departures afterwards.

Season 48 of SNL premieres on October 1, with the host and musical guest still to be announced.
