Next season of Saturday Night Live is shaping up to look extremely different. Following the departure of big-name stars Kate McKinnon, Pete Davidson and Aidy Bryant on the season finale, even more cast members are now reported to be leaving the show. Alex Moffat, Melissa Villaseñor and Aristotle Athari are apparently not coming back for Season 48 this fall.
The news hasn't been made official yet, but Variety cites a source close to the matter. Senior producer Lindsay Shookus is also leaving.
Athari was only a cast member for one season. Melissa Villaseñor and Alex Moffat had each been with the show since 2016.
Villaseñor is set to appear at Just for Laughs Toronto this month.
