Leslie Jones Shares Parting Message for 'Saturday Night Live'

Leslie Jones has confirmed she is leaving Saturday Night Live, and the comedian has shared a message reflecting back on her time at the show.
 
After five seasons on the sketch show, Jones is focusing on other projects, but she's sent a message of thanks to the likes of NBC, the SNL producers, writers, crew and showrunner Lorne Michaels.
 
She also thanked her castmates, particularly Kenan Thompson, Cecily Strong and Kate McKinnon — and, of course, Colin Jost ("you porcelain-skinned Ken doll").
 
Jones closed by sharing her appreciation for the fans of SNL, and promised that they "will be as excited as I am when you see some of the amazing projects and adventures that I have coming up very soon."

Jones is slated to star in her own Netflix stand-up special and also has a number of film projects in the works.
 
As previously reportedSNL is set to return on September 28 with Woody Harrelson and musical guest Billie Eilish. Other confirmed guests include Eddie MurphyTaylor Swift, Phoebe Waller-BridgeCamila Cabello, Kristen Stewart and David Harbour.
