Montreal hip-hop figure Zach Zoya has been steadily plotting his rise, recently signing to 7ième Ciel Records and basking in his first single "Superficial." Now, Zoya is making his next upward move with a new video for the track.
Directed by Guillaume Landry, the clip for "Superficial" features Zoya in a series of nightscapes, alone in his room peaking into the darkness, under the streetlights, on the field and even at a ghostly factory. It's a beautifully cinematic video, yet one that never gets overly flashy just for the sake of it. The clip also goes along perfectly with the late-night vibes of Zoya's flow.
