Futuristic funk freaks YACHT recently shared their "Where Does This Disco?" single, and they're back with a follow-up track called "Works Like Magic."
Speaking with Billboard, the group explained that the song is about the relationship between sex and technology.
"The science fiction writer J.G. Ballard once said that 'sex times technology equals the future,'" the duo said. "We argue that sex and technology coexist in our present: we touch, we push buttons, we seek intimacy in screens. When we connect, it works like magic. 'Works Like Magic' is the first song we've written with our close collaborators, and bandmates, Rob 'Bobby Birdman' Kieswetter and Jeffrey Brodsky."
Listen to "Works Like Magic" below. The song will appear on their upcoming Where Does This Disco? EP, set to arrive on November 11 via Downtown.
