With 1977's Pink Flag, 1978's Chairs Missing and 1979's 154, Wire cemented their place in musical history as forefathers of post-punk. Now, the trio of releases from the English outfit are set to receive the reissue treatment.

All three albums will arrive in expanded CD form on May 18 through the band's own Pink Flag label, presented as 80-page hardback books. The book portion will feature recording details, new interviews with all original band members, lyrics and images from official band photographer Annette Green.

In addition to the remastered album on CD, each album will feature additional discs of singles, B-sides, demos and unreleased songs. Pink Flag will arrive as a 2-CD set, while Chairs Missing and 154 will feature three discs each.

The additional tracks included in the special editions will not be released digitally. The trio of albums will also return to vinyl with remastered audio on June 22 through Pink Flag, though the reissues on that format will stick to the original tracklists.

Further tracklisting information for all three reissues can be found here. Revisit Chairs Missing cut "Outdoor Miner" in the player below.

Besides the reissues, Wire will also release a box set of 7-inch singles called Nine Sevens on Record Store Day, which takes place on April 21.
