Petty thieves, take note — if you're planning to swipe someone's purse, make sure it doesn't belong to the Strokes' Albert Hammond Jr. The guitarist is jacked as hell, and it turns out he won't take it lightly if you fuck with his wife.
As Stereogum points out, Hammond shared a video on Snapchat that looked like he was beating the shit out of someone. When asked about it on Twitter, he explained that someone tried to swipe his wife's belongings:
The video of the whole incident has since been uploaded to YouTube. In it, you can hear Hammond Jr. respond to the events. "Wow, I did get angry didn't I," he says. Yes, he practically blacked out with rage and that's why you should never mess with Albert Hammond Jr.'s wife.
Stereogum also pointed out that the Strokes are back in the studio. As per an Instagram photo, the band rented one to record drums and rehearse.
