It's all fun and games, famously, until someone loses a limb, and a recent GWAR show in Los Angeles brought that aphorism to life when a concert-goer lost their prosthetic leg after crowd-surfing (though, honestly, everyone still seemed to be having a pretty good time).
Thankfully, the band helped the attendee recover their prosthetic, calling on the crowd to look out for the missing limb.
"If anybody's got a fake leg out there, or got an extra fake leg, send it this way 'cause this guy needs his fucking leg," the band's guitarist said. The leg was eventually surfed back up to its owner, who hopefully went on to enjoy the rest of the show.
The band posted footage of the incident on their Instagram with the caption, "not the first (or last) time someone lost a body part in the GWAR pit." See the video below.
