World News — the hardware electronic duo of Bill Cutbill and Qu Mi — are prepping for their spot in Exclaim!'s Class of 2025 with a new EP. Arriving today via their native Safe Sounds, A. A. A. F. vol. i is a mostly instrumental effort that loops into a never-ending soundscape.
"This is the EP we wanted to create," the band said in a press release. "Nobody told us it had to sound this way. Does art have to be commercially viable? No. A. A. A. F. is electronic music exploration."
The EP follows this year's single "In the Room," and World News will host a release show tomorrow (November 30) at the Baby G. Tickets are available on DICE.
World News will graduate from our Class of 2025 on January 17 at the Monarch alongside Ooz, LEONA HELL and Lavoro, proudly supported by Mary Brown's Chicken. Tickets can be found on Showclix.
