The Glorious Sons have come roaring back with their first new music of 2021. The Ontario outfit's "Daylight" can be heard below.

"I think a lot of people are hoping to hear the follow up to 'S.O.S.,'" lead singer Brett Emmons said the band's latest. "It's not here. Nor do I think it needs to be. We were more interested in making something that sounds energized than organized."

Of "Daylight," he continued: "It's by far the closest representation to how the band feels performing a set in a club. But mainly, the important thing to remember here, is that spiritually, the band needed to make music completely for ourselves and that's what we did."

The Glorious Sons are up for the Group of the Year award at the 2021 Juno Awards next month, following 2018 and 2020 Rock Album of the Year victories behind 2017's Young Beauties and Fools and 2019's A War on Everything.
