The 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' Mansion Is Up for Rent on Airbnb

Will Smith himself is coordinating the listing

The Fresh Prince himself, Will Smith, has listed the Los Angeles mansion featured in his '90s television series, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, on Airbnb in celebration of the show's 30-year anniversary. The house used in exterior shots of the show will be available to book for one-night stays starting in early October.

Smith is offering up what would have been his "wing" of the California mansion (if the show would had filmed inside instead of at a studio), renting out space for two guests at a time.

"Ready for the freshest staycation ever? If this place looks familiar that's because it's just as fly as it was when I first rolled up the driveway. I'm back. And this time, I'm handing you the keys so you'll have my wing of the mansion all to yourself — but my sneaker collection is off-limits, aight?" Smith wrote in the listing.

"While I won't be there during your stay, you'll be welcomed (virtually) to the mansion by DJ Jazzy Jeff, and my socially distanced mansion concierge will greet you upon arrival and give you the lay of the land."

The rental includes access to a pool, a foosball table, indoor basketball, a bunch of Fresh Prince memorabilia, a concierge, free parking and WiFi, but no kitchen — all food will be provided to guests and served on a silver platter.

Reservations will be available to book after September 29, with one-night stays for two guests each on five nights in October.

It's bad news for anyone who lives outside of Los Angeles, however. Because of COVID-19, only residents of the area will be allowed to book (according to TMZ). Those of us living outside the area will just have to wait for the inevitable social media coverage.

For their part, Airbnb will donate proceeds from the listing to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia.
