The Chemical Brothers have announced Paused in Cosmic Reflection, a new biography written by the duo's longtime press officer Robin Turner, arriving this October via White Rabbit.
The 336-page retrospective is based on hundreds of hours of interviews with Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, plus creatives and collaborators like Erol Alkan, Noel Gallagher, Beck, Beth Orton, Michel Gondry and director Adam Smith.
The book spans the Chemical Brothers' 30-year career, from their small beginnings in Manchester to their gradual ascent to electronic music stardom. It also highlights the creative process behind some of the duo's biggest songs, plus never-before-seen archive photos and designs. It is also "fully illustrated with 30 years of mind-bending visuals."
Alongside the book announcement, the Chemical Brothers have also shared a new song called "Live Again," which features vocals from Halo Maud. It follows their recent single "No Reason," and will appear on the duo's as-yet-officially-unannounced forthcoming album, set to arrive later in 2023.
