Slow Arrival of Frank Ocean's 'Blonde' Vinyl Has Fans Noticeably Pissed

Frank Ocean gave his latest album, Blonde, a physical release for Black Friday on both CD and vinyl for one day only. While some lucky listeners have received their copies in the mail, others are still waiting on the 2-LP edition to arrive.

Ocean's merch distributor, Sandbag, notified buyers that "delivery to the warehouse will be slightly later than anticipated" in an emailed statement. The email also reads: "We fully appreciate that you have been very patient already and are understandably very eager to receive your goods. We now plan to despatch [sic] your order later in January 2017."

That said, when copies initially went on sale on Black Friday, Ocean's team quickly posted an update stating that copies bought later in the day would ship out in January rather than the initial date of December 19. So at this point, it appears as if Frank and co. are still on schedule, whether buyers realize that or not.

You can find the full statement from Sandbag below, where you can also find a series of tweets from some pretty annoyed fans.

Blonde, of course, was named as one of Exclaim!'s Top 15 Soul and R&B Albums of 2016
