A second person has been arrested in connection with the murder of controversial rapper XXXTentacion, Florida authorities report.
The Broward Sheriff's Office has confirmed that 22-year-old Michael Boatwright is facing first-degree murder charges in the killing. Boatwright was initially arrested last week on an unrelated drug charge.
Boatwright's arrest follows that of 22-year-old Dedrick Devonshay Williams last month. Williams' lawyer has said he will plead not guilty.
Authorities are still in search of 22-year-old Robert Allen, who was named as a person of interest in the case late last month. Allen is also wanted in Broward County on a felony warrant for violation of probation, for possession of the drug flakka and carrying a concealed firearm.
XXXTentacion, born Jahseh Onfroy, was shot to death in south Florida on June 18. He was 20.
