Since releasing their debut LP Stranger back in 2012, Toronto "folk noir" duo Scarlett Jane have been honing their live chops with a rigorous touring schedule, in addition to travelling to Cuba to start work on their follow-up album. Now, that record is almost ready to drop, and Cindy Doire and Andrea Ramolo have unveiled a new live video for "Come Around."
The clip plays more like a short film, documenting a performance by the duo at Toronto's Gladstone Hotel. We see them setting up before launching in to a haunting, soulful live rendition of the rootsy tune. The session was shot by Thin Walls.
"Come Around" appears on the pair's self-titled sophomore album, which is due out June 29 via Warner. Until then, get your fix of Scarlett Jane by watching the new live clip below.
