Toronto indie rockers San Marina have been slowly rolling out their latest album A New Comfort over the last few months, and the latest track "Charlie Said" has now arrived with an accompanying video. You can catch the premiere right here at Exclaim!
The new cut follows previously shared songs like "Art Won't Do" and "Anomie," and it's a garage-pop gem that shows off a slightly grittier side to the melodic rockers. It will serve as the closing track on the upcoming album and was written in conjunction with the group's pal Pat O'Brien from Jaunt.
The matching visuals showcase the band performing under hazy lights, utilizing split-screens to serve viewers twice as much eye candy. It was shot and edited by Mashie Alam with audio recording courtesy of Burke Cameron.
A New Comfort will be officially unveiled on November 12 with an album release show at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, alongside Father Christmas, Kiwi Jr. and Sunshine & the Blue Moon. While we await the record's arrival, give the new live video of "Charlie Said" a watch in the player below.
