Just in case you can't bear waiting another month before Winnipeg punk/thrash masters Propagandhi drop their next LP, Failed States, the band have unveiled album cut "Duplicate Keys Icaro (An Interim Report)" to keep you temporarily sated.
The song starts with some shushed whistling, referring to the practice of Icaros, which are Shamanic spirituals. It eventually builds into a melodic blitzkrieg full of furiously fats drum fills, melancholic metal riffing, fretboard-slaying solos, and singer Chris Hannah's distinctive pipes before running back to Icaro-styled mouth work.
As previously reported, Failed States drops September 4 through Epitaph, and the band will be travelling around North America throughout the fall.
