Olivia and the Creepy Crawlies have delved into the histories of American literature and American indie rock in the past, but the band's latest offering finds them paying homage to their home and native land of Canada.
Despite the song's title of "O Saskatoon," the accompanying video actually documents the band's travels on a recent tour of Canada's East Coast.
"This video was a culmination of growth and change," the band tell Exclaim! "This year, our band went through some personal losses and challenges. On our East Coast tour, we travelled through five provinces, 12 cities and 4,000 km and met so many new faces along the way. We are so thankful for every friend that offered up a bed, a couch or some floor space for us along our travels. We look forward to another year of making music we love, with people we love."
