There are currently a whole bunch of wildfires raging on the West Coast right now, and a recent ODESZA show might lead some acts to rethink their stage show in the face of such dangerous conditions.
This past Saturday night (July 6), ODESZA played a show at Quincy, WA's Gorge Amphitheatre, but their set was cut short when a brush fire broke out close by.
The fire erupted near the end of the set — the duo were performing their final pre-encore song when the flames started up, and the encore was cut in response. The Seattle Times reported that the pair's pyrotechnics caused the fire. Luckily, firefighters were able to put out the flames before anyone got hurt.
This isn't the first time that ODESZA's pyro has caused problems — at Life Is Beautiful in 2018, a couple of fans suffered minor injuries when an ODESZA firework shot into the audience.
