After postponing tour dates in Europe and the U.K. due to coronavirus, Nick Cave has launched a new livestream for fans and listeners in isolation.
"Bad Seed Teevee," which you can tune into below, is a 24-hour broadcast that will air concert footage, music videos, interviews and other rarities around the clock "for the foreseeable future."
"It's 10.30 Wednesday evening, and if the world wasn't in lockdown, I'd be onstage in Toulouse, France singing my heart out with The Bad Seeds," Cave wrote in launching the stream. "But I'm not. I'm doing the next best thing — sitting at home watching Bad Seed TeeVee. Pure non-stop joy!"
Cave was set to tour behind last year's Ghosteen, which Exclaim! named one of the 20 Best Pop and Rock Records of 2019. At present, his North American tour dates set for the fall are unaffected.
In March, Cave released illustrated autobiography Stranger Than Kindness.
