Following news that Newfound Interest in Connecticut would play their first show in nearly two decades at Toronto's New Friends Fest, the Ontario outfit have mapped out some new tour dates for 2024.
Before they take the stage at New Friends Fest, the band will play four July dates in California and, following that aforementioned Toronto appearance, make stops on the East Coast in Philadelphia and Brooklyn.
"These shows are a celebration of the way art can sometimes have a life of its own," the band says [via BrooklynVegan]. "We were lucky enough to create something that, despite us being inactive for years, still continues to resonate with more and more people. We view this as a chance to honor that, the connection people have found because we know with albums we love how important that can be."
Newfound Interest in Connecticut have also brought their debut EP, 2002's Less Is More or Less, to Bandcamp, marking its digital debut.
As they explain, the four-song release was originally available at live shows, housed in a handmade paper sleeve with a square cut in the cover, representing the four seasons during which the songs were produced.
The summer tour dates will also find a new vinyl pressing of the band's only full-length, 2005's Tell Me About the Long Dark Path Home, available ahead of its wide release on August 16. Find the complete tour itinerary below.
