While he may have had some help from Post Malone, Morgan Wallen is getting real with himself on his fourth studio album, I'm the Problem. There is no release date yet, but the title track will be out next Friday (January 31) — and the controversial country star has also announced a North American tour behind the project, which will include back-to-back nights in Toronto and Edmonton come September.
"We made so many lifelong memories on the One Night at a Time World Tour, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for my fans and the way they showed up each night," Wallen said in a press release. "As I've been working on new music, it has inspired me to get back on the road and share these new songs with each of you on the I'm the Problem tour. See y'all there."
With support from a rotating cast of guests including genre royalty Miranda Lambert, Brooks & Dunn, Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock and more, the singer-songwriter will hit the road (presumably after completing his court-mandated DUI education?) starting June 20 and 21 with two shows in Houston, TX. His venture to Canada takes place at the end of the run, when he'll come through Toronto on September 4 and 5 for Rogers Centre concerts, followed by wrapping the tour with a pair of Edmonton gigs at Commonwealth Stadium on September 12 and 13.
