On the heels of releasing their debut single "Pen to Paper," Toronto five-piece Modern Space have set a release date for a new EP, along with a month-long supporting tour and new video.
The group's forthcoming effort, Before Sunrise, is set to arrive on January 22 through Warner Music. The band worked alongside producer Tawgs Salter (Lights, Walk Off the Earth, USS) in recording the new effort. You can find the seven-song tracklisting down below.
In support of the EP's launch, the band have kicked off a 20-date tour through their home and native land. Starting January 16 in Guelph, the band will head westward through Canada to meet up with Arkells for five sold-out dates in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver before trekking back towards home throughout February.
Modern Space have also rolled out a video for EP cut "Let It Out." Shot over the course of their November 2015 tour, the new clip for the upbeat indie rock track combines performance footage with the band taking part in some of their favourite downtime activities — like grabbing snacks at the candy store, testing out some wardrobe ideas, ogling new instruments at the music store, and indulging in a few well-deserved beers.
