Next month marks 25 years since Meshuggah delivered their crushing third album Chaosphere, and the acclaimed Swedish group will celebrate the milestone with a remastered reissue.

Arriving November 10 via the band's own Atomic Fire Records, the reissued Chaosphere features audio remastered by Thomas Eberger and Sofia von Hage at Stockholm Mastering, and arrives to once again blow our minds in vinyl, CD and digital formats.

Originally released on November 9, 1998, Chaosphere saw Meshuggah shed the thrash-oriented sounds of their prior records in favour of a more technical, groove-oriented approach that would profoundly inspire metalheads around the globe, and spawn legions of copycats — a level of influence the band have found "really gratifying."

A newly remastered version of the album's "Sane" can be heard in the player below, with further sonic updates to favourites like "New Millennium Cyanide Christ," "Corridor of Chameleons" and "Neurotica" still to come.

Pre-order the remastered Chaosphere.

In November, Meshuggah kick off a North American tour alongside In Flames and Whitechapel, featuring six stops in Canada. The band released ninth studio album Immutable last year.
