Next spring, East Coast troubadour Matt Andersen will be embarking on a cross-Canada tour. He'll be joined by eight-piece backing band the Big Bottle of Joy — featuring Reeny Smith, Haliey Smith, Micah Smith, Geoff Arsenault, Mike Farrington Jr, Cory Tetford, Kim Dunn and Chris Kirby — and supporting act the Hello Darlins on the 27-date trek.
"I'll be taking the Big Bottle of Joy across Canada with the full intention of lighting up the stage every step of the way," Andersen said in a statement. "To make the trip even sweeter we'll have my Alberta pals the Hello Darlins kicking off the show. It's going to be a run to remember."
The dates kick off on March 24 at Belleville, ON's Empire Theatre ahead of the rest of the shows, which span Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec and Andersen's native New Brunswick. Things will wrap up with a three-night residency at the Light House Arts Centre in Halifax, NS, from May 4 to 6.
