Led by Canadian singer-songwriter Luke Kuplowsky, LUKA are gearing up for a batch of fall gigs, but before they set about winning over audiences with their live show, the band have offered up a brand new video for an already live favourite called "O, My Heart Is Full."
A staple in the band's set, the song grapples with the coexistence of love and sorrow. "I think of it as our theme song," said Kuplowsky in a statement. "It's a song that best represents what our music is trying to achieve and represent in the simplest terms: love, sorrow, humor, connection."
Those themes come to life with a Jonathan Richman-esque sound and sincerity throughout the track, while the video was shot in one take by Melissa Richards and Marko Balaban. The results are a quirky absurdist clip which features Kuplowsky indulging in some O, My Heart is Full cereal.
