At long last, the UK's only emo band Los Campesinos! are returning from across the pond for a North American tour next summer. The two-week trek includes a lone Canadian concert in Toronto.
"We know these only cover a very small portion of the United States and (even less of) Canada, and we're sorry for that," the band wrote in the latest edition of their newsletter. "We love playing shows, but we have jobs, children and responsibilities that limit the amount of time we can spend doing that. We have packed as many gigs as possible into a two-week span, in locations that we know we can play to the most amount of people. If you're based elsewhere and making an out of town or cross-country trip to one of these concerts, we're very grateful and promise it'll be worth your while."
The run kicks off on June 15 in Brooklyn, with the Toronto show taking place at the Opera House on June 20. Shortly thereafter, the indie pop outfit make their return to the US West Coast for the first time in more than five years, capping off the tour in Los Angeles on June 28.
The all-ages shows are fully accessible, and 10 percent of tickets will be available at a reduced price for unemployed/low-income fans. All tickets will be on sale this Friday (November 17), with presale access for Los Campesinos! Substack subscribers beginning Wednesday (October 15) at 10 a.m. local.
