Tennessee rocker family Kings of Leon have secretly spent the last year becoming one of the biggest bands in the world. Their latest album, Only By The Night, was a total success, and to celebrate the band have been on tour with the Walkmen. They just played in Toronto last night (April 21) and after finishing up with those dudes and a whole bunch of U.S. dates throughout the spring, the band have announced a number of late summer west coast dates.
Once they finish with the Walkmen tour leg, the band will branch out on their own, playing the Sasquatch festival before heading out on an European tour that will take them all the way through July. When they return to North American waters, the Kings will then play a trio of just-announced Canadian shows in hockey arenas in Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver.
Tickets for these Canadian shows will go on sale this Friday (April 24), so don't sleep on it.
