He's also bringing his acclaimed 'R.A.P. Music' back to vinyl for its 10th anniversary

Killer Mike's fondness for cannabis has been well-documented, once estimating that it requires six total pounds of plant for El-P and himself to cut a Run the Jewels album. Now, he'll continue to share his love of the leaf in a new documentary.

Later this month, the artist will host Tumbleweeds with Killer Mike, a documentary series from Weedmaps that will explore the intersection of cannabis and culture in four major U.S. cities.

Premiering on April 20, fittingly, the four-part Tumbleweeds follows Killer Mike "rolling through" Las Vegas, San Francisco, New York City and Chicago, where he meets with comedians, business owners and activists to discuss the new era of cannabis.

In 2019, the artist previously hosted docuseries Trigger Warning with Killer Mike, a better outing than its title may have you believe. A trailer for Tumbleweeds can be viewed below. The new series can be viewed on VICE TV, online at vicetv.com, or via the VICE TV app beginning April 20 at 10 p.m. ET.

This May will also mark 10 years since the release of R.A.P. Music, Killer Mike's acclaimed fifth solo album that was entirely produced by El-P — marking their first collaboration before making their debut as Run the Jewels in 2013.

In celebration of the milestone, Mike revealed that the LP would be making its return to vinyl on May 13 with "more info coming soon." On Twitter, he shared a shot of two different vinyl editions: a standard single-LP version, and a double-LP version including instrumentals and a poster.

Run the Jewels previously launched their own cannabis line in 2020.
