Ti West has announced his next feature will be a film called X, and it will star none other than Scott Mescudi, who you may better know as Kid Cudi.
Today, West — the director of such films as The House of the Devil and The Innkeepers — made the announcement, revealing Mia Goth and Jenna Ortega are also set to star in the upcoming film, which will be a co-production between A24 and BRON Studios, Deadline reports.
West will write and direct X, with Mescudi also set to executive produce the project.
So far, though, few other details have been revealed about the film, though it's said to be a "horror thriller." Production is set to start near the beginning of 2021.
This latest role Mescudi follows his recent appearance in Luca Guadagnino's new HBO series We Are Who We Are, as well as Bill & Ted Face the Music.
Just the other week, Mescudi also teased his new Kid Cudi album Man on the Moon III — his first solo studio album since 2016's Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'. So far, though, it's unclear when the actual record will arrive.
