We first heard about Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino's forthcoming HBO series We Are Who We Are about a year ago, and following its first teaser released earlier this month, the show finally has its official trailer.
We Are Who We Are — which marks Guadagnino's television debut — will see the filmmaker serving as showrunner, director, executive producer and writer for all eight episodes of the coming-of-age tale. The series hits HBO this fall, premiering on the platform on September 14.
According to a release, the show "follows a group of teens growing up on an American Army base outside of Venice, Italy struggling to find their own identities as they move into young adulthood."
The forthcoming project stars Jack Dylan Grazer and Jordan Kristine Seamón. Other cast members include Chloë Sevigny, Kid Cudi, Alice Braga, Francesca Scorsese, Corey Knight, Beatrice Barichella, Ben Taylor and Sebastiano Pigazzi.
