Producer-musician Kelly Lee Owens has announced plans for her third studio album, LP.8. It's due to arrive digitally on April 29, while physical editions will come through Smalltown Supersound on June 10.
Born from studio sessions in Olso with Lasse Marhaug, the duo "paired tough, industrial sounds with ethereal Celtic mysticism, creating music that ebbs and flows between tension and release," envisioning an end product somewhere between Enya and Throbbing Gristle, according to a release.
"For me, 8 meant completion — an album that will ripple infinitely with me personally," Owens said of the record, which she describes as her eighth album, in a statement.
LP.8 follows 2020's sophomore release, Inner Song.
Today, the artist shares two new singles from the effort, "Sonic 8" and "Olga." Both arrive with their own visualizers, which you can watch below.
