Kaytranada has confirmed he has a new album on the way. The forthcoming record will be his sophomore release, marking the follow-up to his 2016 debut album 99.9%.
It is currently unclear when the album will be released or what it will be called. But the Montreal producer made the announcement late last night (November 18) in the form of a tweet, which simply reads "album. finito."
Before that, Kaytra had been posting snippets of beats to his Instagram account, with seven samples in total.
Despite a handful of sporadic releases in recent years, his new, yet-to-be named album will mark the producer's first proper album since his 2016 Polaris Music Prize-winning effort 99.9%.
